Making Layered Textured Hearts with Middle School Students

This was a fun project; we practiced doodling and leaned about texture with this lesson. I love the vibrant neon colors that were used in these. This lesson is all about layering and understanding how to build on the prior layer. I love beginning lessons about other artists and with this one, watching a video about Ten Hundred and how he starts his murals with doodles.
