Fall in Washington means the Salmon struggle upstream to lay their eggs. Watching this is what inspired this painting. It is quite a spectacle and one that is cherished because Salmon are part of the culture and heritage.
This painting started with High Flow Acrylics blended with a credit card across the page and then I layered the trees and tried to capture the movement of the water.
