Student Portfolios
Building a portfolio of work, just like speaking in front of others are skills best practiced. The more we can practice these skills the less anxiety they will produce. In Multimedia, we do both of these. We present our work frequently and as the trimester unfolds we update our portfolio. The portfolio is their largest grade. It is a culmination of all of their work through the trimester. These are middle school students; therefore, we talk about digital safety from the beginning. They only use their first names and we only attach a title page for most of their videos.Here are two nice examples:
