Bubbles and Play

I'm back to my blog, so happy.  I just finished a class for my state license where we made lesson plans for every grade from K-12 (18 lessons for each grade).  That's a lot of lesson plans!  So, needless to say - I just didn't have time for everything.

Aren't they pretty!

Now to Bubbles...I hope that Bubbles conjure happy memories for you!  They do for me, my first memory with bubbles is blowing bubbles in milk.  I remember doing that at a Pizza Hut restaurant in those plastic red cups.  My next love of bubbles - a good bubble bath.  Now, I can add bubble printing to the list.  This past week was all about Bubble Printing.  The mixture is equal parts, dish soap, water and paint.  We used paper straws to blow the bubbles and then we "kissed" the paper to the bubbles, it leaves a perfect bubble print.  I had each student make 4.  I chose colors that went well together, so that they could print each paper with one or all 4 colors.  These are going to be cards for people they love.  I was thinking about Mother's Day coming up.  We'll be making Mother's Day crowns next week.  So fun!

A BIG Thank you to my neighbors who have been amazing at dropping things off on my porch.  One of my neighbors is cleaning her Mother's home and had these Tupperware containers.  They were perfect for keeping the bubble mixture in.  Then, I just put the lids on and kept using them for days.

What else, Field Day was on Friday.  Exhausting and fun.  I was in charge of Freeze tag.  Now that we are back from Spring Break, the countdown to summer is on.  We have about 20'ish days left.  School here ends the end of May.

The weather here is turning warmer and we are now seeing days in the 80's.   Today was just so lovely!  Arting, walking, and sending happy vibes to you all.
